• Total CIS: ~5-10 admitted per year

⚠️ Реальный acceptance for CIS-applicant: 0.5%-1%. Это очень reach, даже для perfect profile.

Что нужно для перфектного профиля

Академика

• GPA 4.0/5.0 (4.0/4.0 US-конверсия), perfect или near-perfect
• SAT 1530-1600 (median 1540 для admitted)
• TOEFL 110+ или IELTS 8.0+
• AP courses: 5-8 шт., все 5/5
• IB diploma: 42-45 (если IB школа)

Harvard ставит 5 supplemental эссе (in addition to Common App Personal Statement):

1. Topic of your choice, 200 words
2. What three things would future roommate know about you, 200 words
3. How will activities educate / challenge / influence you in college, 200 words
4. How are you connecting to ideas worth considering, 200 words
5. Highest priority on your applicant list, 200 words

Plus Common App Personal Statement, 650 words.

Recommendations

• 2 teacher recommendations + counselor, все «top student of decade» level
• 1-2 optional дополнительные (e.g., research mentor)

Harvard hiring committee буквально reads ranking statements: «one of the best 5 of 200 students I've taught», minimum.

Restrictive Early Action (REA)

• Deadline: 1 ноября 2026
• Decision: середина декабря 2026
• Acceptance rate: ~7-8% (vs 3.4% RD)

⚠️ Restrictive: можно подавать в только Harvard REA + state public universities + foreign universities. Нельзя ED в другой US private или EA в другой private (некоторые exceptions для public).
